چکیده

In a large number of plant species, including maize, different phenotypic traits have undergone major changes through the breeding process, resulting in creation varieties and hybrids good agronomic performance. This study aimed to examine variability height (PH) uppermost ear (EH) maize top cross obtained from crossing 31 local landraces with three genetically divergent testers (L217, L73B013 L255/75-5). Top were tested two-year experiment, at four locations, two replicates. The grand mean for PH EH 255.8 cm 101.8 cm. Analysis variance showed that all sources variation (environment - year × location (E), landrace (B), tester effect (A), as well their interactions) highly significant (p≤0.01), except triple interaction (A B E). coefficients 4.76% 8.87%. A correlation was found between examined (r=0.785; p <0.01). Linear regression shows increase by 0.5 is followed 1 increase. Based on results, general combining ability (GCA) traits, under influence additive genes, i.e. tall per se crosses give inversely. production, trait interest small EH/PH ratio. Landraces MB1960, MB642 MB1890 best GCA given trait, so they can serve pre-breeding programmes.

Combined Linkage and Association Mapping Reveals QTL and Candidate Genes for Plant and Ear Height in Maize

Plant height (PH) and ear height (EH) are two very important agronomic traits related to the population density and lodging in maize. In order to better understand of the genetic basis of nature variation in PH and EH, two bi-parental populations and one genome-wide association study (GWAS) population were used to map quantitative trait loci (QTL) for both traits. Phenotypic data analysis revea...

QTL mapping of heading date and plant height in Barley cross “Azumamugi”דKanto Nakate Gold

To identify quantitative trait loci (QTLs) controlling heading date and plant height, ninety nine F13 recombinant inbred lines (RILs) derived from barley cultivars Azumamugi × Kanto Nakate Gold cross were evaluated. The field trails were conducted at randomized complete block design with two and three replications in 2004 and 2005, respectively. Significant differences and transgrassive segrega...
